Whether bees are seen as ideal models for human social structure or relationships, flagship species for environmentalism or co-creators of the landscape, utilitarian sources of food, medicine and pollination or spiritual messengers from the ethereal realm, we can agree that there are a diversity of people and bees. In this talk we will engage humanity's past and ongoing cultural relationships with bees, and look ahead at where these relationships may go.
